India’s Girish Gupta struck gold in the 10m Air Pistol Men Youth event at the 16th Asian Shooting Championship 2025 in Shymkent, Kazakhstan. He scored 241.3, while compatriot Dev Pratap won silver, giving India a 1–2 finish. On the same day, Kapil Bainsla added another gold in the junior category, with Jonathan Gavin Antony taking bronze. India’s teams also secured two silvers, ending Day 1 with two golds and three silvers.
